The photography of Mario Moreno
1
Mario Moreno is a talented and accomplished South African born photographer who has spent much of his life living and traveling abroad. “I lived two exciting years in Cumbuco, a small fishing village in the northeastern state of Ceara in Brazil. Cumbuco happens to be one of the best kiteboarding destinations in the world, a fact that worked to my advantage as it helped me develop my skills in kiteboarding photography…” Other stops included Thailand, Indonesia, Morocco, South Africa, Kenya and Tanzania, just to name a few.
Mario returned to South Africa in 2006 to focus, “on the African continent concentrating on my true passions which are wildlife, landscape and travel photography. Since my arrival in this amazing continent I have extensively explored Kruger, Kgalagadi and Karoo in South Africa, the Kalahari and Okavango in Botswana, the Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and Masai Mara in Kenya.”
His work has found success internationally. During the last three years several of his images have been selected as finalists in the prestigious BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition.
Mario sums up his work this way, “I constantly travel around the African continent in search of that ‘Perfect Moment’ . . . .”

A couple of Egyptian Geese (Alopochen aegyptiacus) in Lake Panic at sunrise. I was shooting hippo silhouettes in the distance when these to birds appeared in my viewfinder. They made a perfect image silhouetted against the sunrise steam in the background. This is a member of the duck, goose and swan family Anatidae. Egyptian geese were considered sacred by the ancient Egyptians, and appeared in much of their artwork. The Egyptian Goose is one of the species to which the Agreement on the Conservation of African-Eurasian Migratory Waterbirds (AEWA) applies.

Sooooo good. Wish I had a folio like his.
I have been browsing on-line more than three hours today, but I never found any interesting article like yours. It is beautiful worth sufficient for me. In my view, if all site owners and bloggers made good content material as you probably did, the internet can be much more helpful than ever before.
